Member of the BoD of MSFI since 1997 and of Mercantil Banco Universal since 1972.

Served as Chairman of the Board of Mercantil Bank Holding Corporation from 2012 to 2018.

Ignacio is member of the BoD of Mercantil Servicios Financieros Internacional (MSFI) and Mercantil Banco Universal.
He has 15+ years with the Group, having served in various management roles.
Previously, Ignacio worked in several roles across bulge bracket investment banks (Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch and Violy & Co.) and international consulting firms (McKinsey & Company).

Chief Financial
Officer, MSFI
With 20+ years of experience, Luciano has built a distinguished career providing Corporate Finance services such as strategic planning, business valuation and advisory assignments in M&A.
Luciano joined Mercantil as Chief Financial Officer during 2020.

Prior to Mercantil, Luciano led the LatAm Financial Advisory vertical in PwC on behalf of the US firm, providing services to clients across the region.

Nelson is an industrial engineer with a master’s degree in Business Economics and Business Administration (MBA) from Vanderbilt University with over 20 years’ experience in banking, having occupied the highest management positions.
